MYWATCHTOWER ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Version 1.4 • Effective Date: August 31, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who accesses or uses the MyWatchtower platform — websites, kiosks, mobile applications, credentials, recordings, and notifications (the "Platform"). It is part of the MyWatchtower Terms of Service & EULA and of JEKA's agreements with communities and integrators.

JEKA is a technology provider, not a security, guard, or protection service. No product name, service name, or marketing description modifies this Section.

Using the Platform, you agree that you will NOT:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or your community's rules.
  • Use the Platform, its credentials, or its recordings, photographs, or notifications to harass, embarrass, stalk, intimidate, defame, or harm any person.
  • Share, issue, or use credentials (QR codes, PINs, passes, cards, fobs, mobile passes) for anyone other than their intended, legitimate purpose; share your personal login or PIN with any other person; or fail to revoke credentials promptly when no longer needed or upon discovering misuse.
  • Circumvent, disable, damage, or interfere with access controls, kiosks, cameras, gates, or any part of the service, or attempt to gain access you are not authorized to have.
  • Prop open, hold open, or block any gate, door, or barrier to defeat entry processing, or knowingly enable any person to enter without an entry authorized under your community's rules ("tailgating").
  • Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access the Platform, submit or trigger entry requests, test or guess credentials, or attempt entry.
  • Redistribute or publish entry recordings, photographs, or vehicle records, or use them for any purpose other than entry management, safety documentation, and community administration.
  • Harvest, scrape, sell, or exploit Platform data, including visitor, resident, vehicle, entry, or access records.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, or create derivative works from the Platform, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Impersonate any person, misrepresent your authority, or provide false information.
  • Resell or transfer Platform access except under a written agreement with JEKA.
  • Introduce malware or take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on, or disrupts, the Platform.

Whoever grants access answers for it. If you credential a person — a guest, vendor, household member, or employee — you are responsible for that person's use of the access you granted, as if it were your own.

Enforcement. JEKA may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or revoke any individual's credentials or access, remove content, and notify the community or law enforcement, without liability. Suspension for AUP violation is not a breach of any agreement with JEKA.

Notifying JEKA. Notify JEKA of suspected misuse through the support portal at support.mywatchtower.app or legal@jekasoftware.com. A notice is effective only when received by JEKA and logged in JEKA's support ticketing system, as reflected in JEKA's records; JEKA's ticket records are the sole evidence of the time and content of any notice. A notice does not obligate JEKA to take, or to refrain from taking, any particular action.

Changes. JEKA may update this AUP from time to time; the posted version governs.
