JEKA SOFTWARE COOKIE POLICY

Version 1.3 • Effective Date: September 7, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how JEKA Software, Inc. ("JEKA Software", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the websites and web applications we operate, including https://www.jekasoftware.com (our corporate site) and https://mywatchtower.app (the MyWatchtower visitor management platform) (together, the "Sites"). It applies to any other site or application that we own or control and that posts or links to this Cookie Policy. For a full description of how we collect, use, and share personal information, see the applicable Privacy Policy for each Site.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies serve different purposes, such as enabling core features to work, remembering your preferences and consent choices, and helping us understand how the Sites are used so we can improve them.

Cookies may be session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them). They may be first-party cookies (set directly by us) or third-party cookies (set by service providers whose tools operate on the Sites). The Sites may also use similar technologies — such as browser web storage (localStorage), pixels, and scripts loaded from third-party services — which this Policy treats the same way as cookies.

Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use

We group the cookies and similar technologies on the Sites into four categories: Essential (necessary for the Sites to operate and to record your consent choices — always active), Functional (support presentation and delivery of site features), Analytics (help us measure and improve how the Sites perform and are used), and Advertising (measure whether a visit to our corporate site came from a JEKA advertisement and build Google Ads audiences). Functional, Analytics, and Advertising technologies are not essential and are consent-gated where the consent tool described below is deployed.

The list below identifies every cookie-setting service currently in use across the Sites. Services 1 through 5 operate on mywatchtower.app; service 6 operates on www.jekasoftware.com (see "Site-Specific Notes" below).

  • 1. Usercentrics Consent Management Platform — Category: Essential — Provider: Usercentrics GmbH (third party) — Purpose: compliance with legal obligations; storage of your consent choices — Duration: perpetual — How to control: always active; required to remember your consent settings.
  • 2. Google Fonts — Category: Functional — Provider: Google LLC (third party) — Purpose: providing fonts; improvement of service — Duration: perpetual — How to control: consent tool (where deployed); browser controls; provider's website.
  • 3. Google Tag Manager — Category: Functional — Provider: Google LLC (third party) — Purpose: tag management; loading of analytics and other tags — Duration: perpetual — How to control: consent tool (where deployed); browser controls; provider's website.
  • 4. Google Analytics (GA4) — Category: Analytics — Provider: Google LLC (third party) — Purpose: analytics; measurement of site usage — Duration: 2 years — How to control: consent tool (where deployed); browser controls; Google's opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • 5. Microsoft Clarity — Category: Analytics — Provider: Microsoft Corporation (third party) — Purpose: optimization; analytics (session interaction analysis) — Duration: perpetual — How to control: consent tool (where deployed); browser controls; provider's website.
  • 6. Google Ads tag — Category: Advertising — Provider: Google LLC (third party) — Purpose: measuring whether a visit to www.jekasoftware.com came from a JEKA advertisement (conversion measurement) and building Google Ads audiences — Cookie: _gcl_au — Duration: 90 days — How to control: consent tool (where deployed); browser controls; Google's ad settings at https://adssettings.google.com.

Category mapping note. Our consent tool labels Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity as "Marketing" in its vendor descriptions. We classify them here as Analytics because we use them to measure and improve the Sites; they remain consent-gated and off by default wherever the consent tool is deployed, exactly as the "Marketing" classification requires.

Other Technologies

The Sites also use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) on entry forms for automated-abuse and spam prevention. Turnstile processes technical information such as IP address, user agent, and browser characteristics to distinguish people from automated scripts. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details. The Sites do not use Flash or other locally-shared-object plug-in storage.

Your Choices — Consent Tool

Where the consent tool (Usercentrics) is deployed on a Site, you can manage non-essential cookies through it:

  • Essential technologies do not require consent and are always active.
  • Functional, Analytics, and Advertising technologies are off by default and load only after you consent.
  • You can accept all, reject all, or choose categories individually when the consent banner first appears, and you can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Privacy Settings" link in the Site footer.

If a page does not display the consent tool, you can still control cookies using the browser-level and vendor-level options below.

Your Choices — Browser and Vendor Controls

  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies. Follow your browser's instructions to do so. Blocking all cookies may impair parts of the Sites — for example, you may need to sign in again on each visit. For general information about cookies and how to manage them, visit https://www.aboutcookies.org.
  • Google Analytics opt-out. Install Google's opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Microsoft Clarity opt-out. Available through the consent tool or via Microsoft's website.
  • Google Ads opt-out. Manage ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com, or block the _gcl_au cookie in your browser.
  • Browser web storage. Your browser may provide functionality to clear localStorage and similar web storage.

Global Privacy Control

Consistent with our Privacy Policies, the Sites honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal where required by applicable law. If your browser or extension transmits a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information as those terms are defined by applicable state privacy laws, for that browser. A GPC signal does not adjust your consent-tool category selections; you can manage those separately as described above. The Sites do not respond to the older browser Do Not Track (DNT) signal; you may enable or disable DNT in your browser's settings.

Site-Specific Notes

  • www.jekasoftware.com uses the Google Ads tag (service 6) to measure whether visits came from JEKA's advertisements; it does not use Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity. If additional services are added, this Policy and its list will be updated before they are deployed, and any non-essential cookies will be consent-gated.
  • mywatchtower.app uses services 1 through 5. Entry processing, visitor pre-registration, and related platform features rely only on Essential technologies; declining Functional and Analytics cookies does not affect them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the cookies and services we use change. The version and effective date above identify the current revision; material changes will be reflected in an updated list and announced by posting on the Sites.
