JEKA SOFTWARE COOKIE POLICY

This JEKA Software Cookie Policy (this "Policy") explains how JEKA Software, Inc. ("JEKA," "we," "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the websites and web applications it operates, including without limitation https://www.jekasoftware.com (JEKA's corporate site) and https://mywatchtower.app (the MyWatchtower visitor management platform) (together, the "Sites"). This Policy also applies to any other site or application that JEKA owns or controls and that posts or links to this Policy. The JEKA Software Website Privacy Policy (the "Website Privacy Policy") and the MyWatchtower Platform Privacy Notice (the "Privacy Notice") describe how JEKA collects, uses and discloses personal information through each Site.

1. What Cookies Are

1.1 Cookies. Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They serve different purposes, such as enabling core features to function, remembering your preferences and consent choices, and helping JEKA understand how the Sites are used so that it can improve them.

1.2 Types of Cookies. Cookies may be session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. They may be first-party cookies, set directly by JEKA, or third-party cookies, set by service providers whose tools operate on the Sites.

1.3 Similar Technologies. The Sites may also use similar technologies, such as browser web storage (localStorage), pixels, and scripts loaded from third-party services, which this Policy treats in the same manner as cookies.

2. Categories

2.1 The Four Categories. JEKA groups the cookies and similar technologies on the Sites into four categories: (a) Essential, which are strictly necessary for the Sites to operate and to record your consent choices, and are always active; (b) Functional, which support the presentation and delivery of site features; (c) Analytics, which help JEKA measure and improve how the Sites perform and are used; and (d) Advertising, which measure whether a visit to JEKA's corporate site came from a JEKA advertisement and build Google Ads audiences.

2.2 Consent. Functional, Analytics and Advertising technologies are not strictly necessary, and they are consent-gated wherever the consent tool described in Section 5 is deployed.

3. Services in Use

This Section identifies each cookie-setting service currently in use across the Sites. The services in Sections 3.1 through 3.5 operate on mywatchtower.app, and the service in Section 3.6 operates on www.jekasoftware.com (see Section 8).

3.1 Usercentrics Consent Management Platform. Category: Essential. Provider: Usercentrics GmbH (third party). Purpose: compliance with legal obligations; storage of your consent choices. Duration: perpetual. How to control: strictly necessary; always active; required to remember your consent settings.

3.2 Google Fonts. Category: Functional. Provider: Google LLC (third party). Purpose: providing fonts; improvement of service. Duration: perpetual. How to control: the consent tool (where deployed); browser controls; the provider's website.

3.3 Google Tag Manager. Category: Functional. Provider: Google LLC (third party). Purpose: tag management; loading of analytics and other tags. Duration: perpetual. How to control: the consent tool (where deployed); browser controls; the provider's website.

3.4 Google Analytics (GA4). Category: Analytics. Provider: Google LLC (third party). Purpose: analytics; measurement of site usage. Duration: 2 years. How to control: the consent tool (where deployed); browser controls; Google's opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

3.5 Microsoft Clarity. Category: Analytics. Provider: Microsoft Corporation (third party). Purpose: optimization; analytics (session interaction analysis). Duration: perpetual. How to control: the consent tool (where deployed); browser controls; the provider's website.

3.6 Google Ads Tag. Category: Advertising. Provider: Google LLC (third party). Purpose: measuring whether a visit to www.jekasoftware.com came from a JEKA advertisement (conversion measurement) and building Google Ads audiences. Cookie: _gcl_au. Duration: 90 days. 3.7 Category Mapping Note. JEKA's consent tool labels Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity as "Marketing" in its vendor descriptions. JEKA classifies them in this Policy as Analytics because it uses them to measure and improve the Sites, and wherever the consent tool is deployed they remain consent-gated and off by default, exactly as the "Marketing" classification requires.

4. Other Technologies

The Sites also use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) on entry forms for automated-abuse and spam prevention. Turnstile processes technical information, such as IP address, user agent and browser characteristics, to distinguish people from automated scripts, and Cloudflare's privacy policy governs its processing. The Sites do not use Flash or other locally-shared-object plug-in storage.

5. Your Choices: the Consent Tool

5.1 Consent Tool Settings. Where the consent tool (Usercentrics) is deployed on a Site, you can manage non-essential cookies through it, as follows: (a) Essential technologies are strictly necessary, do not require consent and are always active; and (b) Functional, Analytics and Advertising technologies are off by default and load only after you give your consent.

5.2 Changing Your Choices. When the consent banner first appears, you can accept all categories, reject all of them, or choose categories individually, and you can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the "Privacy Settings" link in the Site footer.

5.3 Pages Without the Consent Tool. If a page does not display the consent tool, you can still control cookies using the browser and vendor controls in Section 6.

6. Your Choices: Browser and Vendor Controls

6.1 Browser Settings. Most browsers allow you to view, block and delete cookies; follow your browser's instructions to do so. Blocking all cookies may impair the functionality of parts of the Sites; for example, you may need to sign in again on each visit. 6.2 Google Analytics Opt-Out. You can install Google's opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

6.3 Microsoft Clarity Opt-Out. You can opt out of Microsoft Clarity through the consent tool or through Microsoft's website.

6.4 Google Ads Opt-Out. You can manage ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com, or block the _gcl_au cookie in your browser.

6.5 Browser Web Storage. Your browser may provide functionality to clear localStorage and similar web storage.

7. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

7.1 Global Privacy Control. Consistent with the Website Privacy Policy and the Privacy Notice, the Sites honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal where applicable law requires. If your browser or extension transmits a GPC signal, JEKA treats it as a valid request to opt out, for that browser, of any sale or sharing of personal information, as those terms are defined by applicable state privacy laws. A GPC signal does not adjust your consent-tool category selections, which you can manage separately as described in Section 5.

7.2 Do Not Track. The Sites do not respond to the older browser Do Not Track (DNT) signal, which you may enable or disable in your browser's settings.

8. Site-Specific Notes

8.1 www.jekasoftware.com. This Site uses the Google Ads tag (Section 3.6) to measure whether visits came from JEKA's advertisements, and it does not use Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity. If JEKA adds services to this Site, JEKA will update this Policy and its inventory before those services are deployed, and any non-essential cookies will be consent-gated.

8.2 mywatchtower.app. This Site uses the services in Sections 3.1 through 3.5. Entry processing, visitor pre-registration and related platform features rely only on Essential technologies, and declining Functional and Analytics cookies does not affect them.

9. Changes to This Policy

JEKA may amend this Policy as the cookies and services it uses change. The version and effective date above identify the current revision, and JEKA will reflect any material change in an updated inventory and announce it by posting on the Sites.
