The Dashboard tab is the Reporting module's at-a-glance view: incident counts, the latest filings, and a breakdown by type, plus shortcuts to the most common actions. This guide explains each widget; for the module as a whole, see Incident Reporting Overview.
You need Incident Reporting enabled for your community and incident read permissions to see it.
Across the top are shortcut cards. The first two appear only if your role has the matching write permissions:
Four counters summarize filing volume for the community you're currently viewing:
Reading the row right to left is a quick pulse check: Today tells you whether something needs attention now, while This Week and This Month show whether activity is trending up.
The Recent Incidents widget lists the latest filings, each showing its type, time, location or property, who reported it, and a preview of the notes. Click any entry to open its detail page (see Working an Incident), or use the widget's view-all control to open the full list. Until anything is filed, the widget reads "No incidents recorded yet".
The Incidents by Type widget is a ring chart breaking down your community's recent incidents by category, with a color-keyed legend. Hover a segment to see the exact count. Incidents filed under a custom "Other" description are grouped together as Other. The chart is based on the most recent incidents rather than the community's full history, so treat it as a snapshot of what's been happening lately — use Generate Report when you need exact figures for a specific period.
Start each shift on the Dashboard: check Today, scan Recent Incidents for anything unfamiliar, and glance at Incidents by Type for a shift in the mix. Anything that needs action is one click away in the Incidents tab.
Use the Contact Support form in the app, or contact your community's management office.
