Making a Guest or Vendor Permanent

Guests and vendors are either temporary (access between a start and end date) or permanent (ongoing access with no dates). This article explains the permanent option and how to switch between the two.

What permanent means

A permanent guest or vendor has ongoing access with no start or end date — they stay authorized until you remove them. It's a good fit for:

The badges

On desktop, your guest and vendor lists label each entry:

Making someone permanent at creation

On the Access step of the creation wizard, tick "This is a permanent guest" (or "This is a permanent vendor"). The date fields no longer apply — there is no start or end date to set.

Switching between dated and permanent

You can change your mind at any time:
