Changing Your Display Theme

The Appearance section lets you choose how MyWatchtower looks by switching between light mode and dark mode. This guide explains how to change your display theme.

Getting to Appearance settings

• Step 1: Open your account — My Account at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar on desktop, or the Account tab in the bottom navigation on your phone.
• Step 2: Select the Appearance section (on mobile, the section row shows your current theme in its summary).

Choosing a theme

The Appearance section contains a single Theme card, noted "Applies immediately and is remembered on this device." It shows two selectable preview cards, each a miniature mock of the app so you can see what you're picking:

• Light – A bright theme with a white background.
• Dark – A darker theme that's easier on your eyes in low-light environments.

To switch:

• Step 1: Select the preview card for the theme you want.
• Step 2: The whole app changes immediately — there's nothing else to save.

The theme you're currently using is marked with a CURRENT chip on its preview card.

Good to know

• There are only two options: Light and Dark. There is no "match my device" or system-theme option — pick the one you prefer.
• Your choice is remembered on this device. If you use MyWatchtower on both your phone and your computer, set the theme on each device separately.
• Dark mode can reduce eye strain at night and may use less battery on phones with OLED screens.
