Create a Custom Page

Custom pages are how a Horizon community publishes reference content — amenity information, committee pages, community rules, board listings, project updates — without writing any HTML. This article covers creating one page and taking it live. For the full page dashboard, bulk actions and module overview, see the Manage Website Pages article.

Before You Begin

You need a role with pages permissions. Open the Community Admin Center and use the Manage Website Pages card.

Creating the Page

Staging with the Hidden Status

Every page is either public or hidden, and the manage-pages dashboard has a switch on each page's row to toggle between the two:

Putting the Page Where Residents Can Find It

Publishing a page makes it reachable at its URL slug, but it does not automatically appear in your site's navigation. Add it to the menu yourself — see Customize Your Site Menu — or link to it from another page or news post. Pages that aren't in the menu are difficult for residents to discover.

Deleting a Page

Each page row has a delete icon, and pages can also be deleted in bulk from the dashboard. Deleting a page is permanent — there is no undo. If you might need the content later, hide the page instead.
