Whether you're expecting friends for dinner or a relative staying the weekend, registering guests in MyWatchtower lets them enter the community without delay. Gate staff can verify registered guests quickly, and every visit is logged in your property's entry activity.
Guests are now created in a single guided wizard that collects who the guest is, when they can enter, and any entry codes — all in one pass.
For the step-by-step flow — starting the wizard, choosing Visitor or Vendor, entering the guest's details, and submitting — see Inviting a Guest.
On the wizard's Access step, you decide when your guest may enter. To limit which days of the week (and optionally which hours) the guest may enter, see Setting a Guest's Entry Schedule; for ongoing access with no start or end date, see Making a Guest or Vendor Permanent.
If your community has these features enabled, you can add entry codes in the same step — see Issuing a QR Code When Creating a Guest and Giving a Guest a Kiosk PIN.
Guests can carry a photo, shown in place of the automatically generated initials wherever the guest appears in MyWatchtower.
Photo management is permission-based — if you don't see the option, your role doesn't include it. Photos are JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or HEIC files up to 5 MB, and each guest has one photo at a time (uploading a new one replaces it). A photo helps gate staff confirm that the person at the gate matches the record, and in communities with entry kiosks, the kiosk's Access Granted screen shows the entering person's photo and name after a successful scan. If a guest has no photo, the kiosk can fill one in automatically from the entry snapshot the first time their code is used.
To edit a guest's details, dates, or schedule — or to delete them — see Editing or Removing a Guest.
Registering guests in advance speeds up entry at the gate. Keep names accurate and end dates current for the smoothest experience.
