Issuing a QR Code When Creating a Guest

You don't have to create a guest first and a QR code second — the guest creation wizard can issue an entry QR code in the same pass. The guest then only needs the code image on their phone at the gate or kiosk.

This works for vendors too, since they're created in the same wizard.

Enable the QR code on the Access step

Choosing the usage limit

Two things to keep in mind:

After the code is created

The new code appears under your Property page's QR Codes tab. Open it there to view, share, or download it for your guest — see "Sharing and Downloading a QR Code."

Adding a QR code to an existing guest

If the guest already exists, you don't need the creation wizard — create a code from their page or with the QR wizard instead. See "How to Create a QR Code for Your Guest."

Feature availability

Some communities have QR codes turned off. If you don't see Enable QR Code Access, contact your community's management office.
