Managing QR Codes

Managing QR Codes

QR codes give guests, vendors, and residents an easy way to enter your community: the code is scanned at the gate or kiosk instead of waiting for identity checks. This guide explains where your QR codes live, how to create them, and how to manage them.

Where to find your QR codes

Creating a new QR code

QR codes are created in a short two-step wizard.

You can also create a QR code while adding a guest or vendor — see Issuing a QR Code When Creating a Guest — or from an existing guest's or vendor's page.

Using and sharing QR codes

To view a code full size, share or download it for your guest or vendor, and for how spent and deleted codes are hidden from your lists, see Sharing and Downloading a QR Code.

Deleting a QR code

Once deleted, the code no longer works for entry. Deleting a code does not delete the guest or vendor it belonged to.

Feature availability

Some communities have QR codes turned off. If you don't see the QR Codes tab or the Generate QR tile, contact your community's management office.
