Property PIN vs. Personal PIN

Property PIN vs. Personal PIN

Communities with entry kiosks can allow entry with a PIN typed on the kiosk keypad — and MyWatchtower has two kinds of PIN. Both are typed the same way at the kiosk; the difference is who the code belongs to.

The two kinds at a glance

Your own codes appear in the PIN CODES section of your wallet, each labeled Personal or Property so you can tell them apart at a glance.

Personal PINs

The Property PIN

Some communities also allow the single shared PIN. You'll find it on your Property page under the PIN tab, in the Property Kiosk PIN card:

The PIN Usage History section below the card shows every entry made with your property's PINs.

When each fits

Availability and staff management

PIN codes are enabled by your community's management, and the Property PIN is enabled separately from personal PINs — you may see one without the other. If a PIN option is missing, contact your community's management office. Community staff can also create both kinds from the Access module — see "Community PINs and Emergency PINs."
