Community Settings

community-adminwebsite-content

The Community Settings module centralizes configuration for your community’s identity and core information. From branding to contact details and invite codes, this module ensures that residents see accurate information while administrators maintain control over how the site looks and how new members join.

Contact Information and Invite Codes

Community Details

Site Banner

Use the Site Banner section to display a temporary announcement across the top of your community website. This is useful for alerts such as gate maintenance, pool closures or special events. Enter a short banner message (200 characters or fewer) and save it. Leave the field blank to hide the banner.

Address Information

Ensure that your community’s physical address is correct. You can enter street address lines, city, state/province and ZIP/postal code. This information may be used in contact pages or footers and helps residents confirm that they are viewing the correct community site.

Community Branding

Upload a hero image or logo that represents your community. This image appears prominently on your home page and sets the visual tone for your site. Choose high‑quality images that respect privacy and avoid showing identifiable residences or license plates. You can replace the branding image at any time by uploading a new file.

Manage Menu

From the settings page, you can access the Manage Menu tool to customize the navigation bar. This lets you determine which pages appear in your site’s header, the order of menu items and the roles required to view each item. A well‑structured menu helps residents find information quickly.

Best Practices

The Community Settings module is the foundation of your Horizon site. Taking the time to configure it properly will ensure a professional and accurate representation of your community across all modules.
