Properties are the backbone of a MyWatchtower community: guests, vendors, vehicles, entry records, and property requests all attach to a property. Staff whose role includes the property-management permission can add new properties from the app.
New residents join by searching for their home address and filing a property request, so a property can only be found if its address is entered accurately. Getting the address right at creation saves request headaches later.
Property creation uses the same step-by-step creation wizard as MyWatchtower's other create flows, and it begins with the property's address. Work through the wizard's steps and submit; the new property then appears in the community's property list.
Open the new property's page to finish setting it up:
See "Managing Your Property" for a full tour of the property page and its tabs.
If you're onboarding a whole community, JEKA can import properties in bulk from a spreadsheet — properties are imported first, because everything else attaches to them by address. Contact support to arrange an import.
Use the Contact Support form in the app, or contact your community's management office.
