One MyWatchtower account can hold all of your properties across every community you belong to. This guide explains where to see your communities, how to switch between them, and how to add access to another property or community.
Your communities live in your account settings:
Here you'll see every community you currently have access to. A community is typically a neighborhood, HOA, or residential area that uses MyWatchtower for access control.
If you belong to more than one community, a community switcher appears in the navigation — look for the building icon. Choose a community from the list and you'll be taken to that community's dashboard. If you only belong to one community, the switcher is hidden.
Some related communities are grouped together. Communities that belong to the same group appear as a single row with the group's name in the switcher, so you pick the group once rather than each member separately.
Staff accounts whose access spans every community (some JEKA and partner staff) see all communities listed in the switcher.
To move between properties within a community, use the property selector on your Property page or the My Properties section of your dashboard.
There are no invite codes — joining works by address search. Whether you're adding a second property in your current community or a home in a different community (for example, a vacation house), the flow is the same:
Community staff review your request and its documents. While it's pending, you appear in that community as a Pending Resident with a limited view; you can follow the request's status, and upload additional documents, from your dashboard. Once approved, the property appears on your dashboard and full resident features unlock.
You don't need separate accounts for different properties — add them all to one account for the easiest experience.
If a request has been pending for a while or you can't find your address, contact your community's management office, or use the Contact Support form in the app.
