Your property's contact priority list tells the community who to call — and in what order — when something at the gate needs a decision from your household, such as an unexpected visitor. Gate staff see the list as the Priority Contacts panel in Mission Control and as the numbered Call List on the license-scan station, and they work down it from the top until someone answers. Keeping it accurate and in the right order matters.
The Edit Contact List button appears only when your property role includes the right permission. Property roles are Owner, Manager, and Resident (plus any custom roles your community defines); if you don't see the button, ask your property owner or community staff to update the list or adjust your role. Community staff with the appropriate permissions can also edit the list on a household's behalf.
Each entry on the list can carry a short note alongside the name and phone number — for example, "call after 6 pm only" or "primary contact for deliveries." Gate staff see these notes when they open the list, so use them to spare your household unnecessary calls.
When someone submits a property request for your address and community staff approve it, the approved requester is automatically appended to the end of your contact priority list. This means new household members become reachable at the gate right away without any manual setup — but it also means the list can grow on its own. After a new member is approved, review the list and reorder it so the people who should be called first are still at the top.
