How to Reset Your Password

Can't remember your password? No problem — you can make a new one from the sign-in screen.

How to reset it

• Step 1: Go to the MyWatchtower sign-in screen ("Welcome Back").
• Step 2: Select the Forgot password? link near the password field.
• Step 3: Type in your email address.
• Step 4: Send the reset email.

Check your email

• Step 1: Look for an email from MyWatchtower (check your spam folder too).
• Step 2: Follow the link in the email.
• Step 3: Type in your new password.
• Step 4: Save it, then sign in with the new password.

Already signed in?

If you're signed in and simply want a new password, you don't need the sign-in screen:

• Step 1: Open Account and go to the Security section.
• Step 2: In the Sign-In card, select Update Password — this sends the same reset link to your email address.

Tips for your new password

Make a strong password that has:

• At least 8 characters
• Uppercase and lowercase letters
• Numbers
• Special signs like ! or @

Don't reuse a password you already use somewhere else.

Still having problems?

If you don't get the email:

• Check your spam or junk folder
• Make sure you typed your email correctly — it must be the address you sign in with
• Wait a few minutes and try again

Tip: If you originally signed up with one of the social buttons at the top of the sign-in screen (Google, Apple, or Facebook), you may not have a MyWatchtower password at all — just tap your provider's button to sign in.
