This guide is for community staff and Admins who review activity records in Access > Audit Logs ("Track all system activities and user actions"). The tab appears when your role can view audit logs.
Two controls narrow the list:
Custom Range reveals Start Date and End Date pickers. Dates can reach back up to 90 days and cannot pass today, and the span between them is capped at 30 days — a wider selection shows "Date range cannot exceed 30 days. Please select a smaller range." and results pause until you narrow it. There is no separate event-type dropdown; combine text search with the date range to zero in on what you need.
Each row leads with an icon colored by the action verb the log recorded:
| Action | Icon |
|---|---|
| Create | Green plus |
| Update | Blue pencil |
| Delete | Red bin |
| Approve | Light-green check |
| Deny | Red X |
| Other | Grey history |
The bold primary line reads "{Action} - {record}", followed by a description and a date chip.
Click any row to open its detail dialog, headed "{Action} by {userName}" with a timestamp. It has two parts:
The comparison is the fastest way to answer "who changed this, and from what to what" — for example, confirming which schedule a group's door was moved to, or what a user's role was before an edit. Click Close to return to the list.
"No audit logs found" means nothing matched your search and date range — widen the range or clear the search. If the page reports "Error loading audit logs", refresh and try again.
If the Audit Logs tab is missing entirely, your role does not include audit-log access — ask your community Admin, or submit a help desk ticket.
