This guide is for community staff and Admins who review resident-submitted requests in Access > Property Requests ("Review and manage property access requests"). The tab appears when your role can manage residents. For the resident side of the flow, see Requesting Access to Your Property.
The list opens on Pending Requests. Two toggle buttons switch views: Approved (green) and Denied (red); clicking the active one returns you to Pending. Each row shows the requester's name with their address and phone number. Pending rows carry round Approve and Deny buttons; the Approved and Denied views show a status chip instead.
Both buttons open a dialog summarizing the request — Date Requested, Name, Address, and Phone number.
Click a row to open the full request: the requester's name, a status chip (Pending, Approved, or Denied), and the Address, Phone, Email, and Submitted Date fields, plus an optional Notes card. Staff can Approve or Deny a pending request from here as well, using the same dialog.
The Documents card lists the proof files attached to the request, each with its upload date and a Download button; roles with document-delete permission also see a Delete button per file. More files can be added with Select Files to Upload — PDFs, images, and Word documents are accepted, within hard limits:
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Files per request | 5 |
| Size per file | 5 MB |
| Total per request | 15 MB |
If a request arrives without enough documentation, denying it with a specific reason is usually better than leaving it pending — the requester can fix exactly what you name.
A denied request is not the end of the road. The requester sees your denial reason and gets a Resubmit Request button on their denied request, so write reasons specific enough to act on — the wrong document, an address mismatch, a missing page. They can also upload additional documents before trying again.
If the Property Requests tab is missing, your role does not include resident management — ask your community Admin, or submit a help desk ticket.
