Horizon community websites include two ways to connect people with the community: a Contacts directory that showcases board members and staff, and a public Contact Us page with a "Get in Touch" form that emails the community office. This guide covers both, for residents and for the admins who maintain them.
The Contacts page ("Important contact information for the community") organizes people into sections — for example Management, Support, or Board — each shown as a labeled header with a grid of contact cards. Access to the page is permission-based, so communities can keep it for signed-in residents.
Each card shows the person's name and, when provided:
A card with none of these details reads "No contact details available".
Admins with contacts write access edit everything inline on the Contacts page itself — there is no separate admin screen. For adding sections and contacts, editing or deleting cards, and the caution about section deletes, see Add a Community Contact.
The Contact Us page is open to everyone — no sign-in needed — and the homepage's Contact Us button leads straight to it. Under "Send us a Message", the form asks for:
Click Send Message. On success you'll see "Thank you for your message! We will get back to you soon." and the form clears.
Form submissions are delivered as an email to the community's primary contact email — the address admins set in Community Settings under Community Details. The email includes the sender's name, email, phone and address if given, the message, and a timestamp. Submissions are not stored on the website, and the sender does not receive a copy, so the community office's inbox is the only record — make sure that address is current and checked regularly.
Admins who don't see the Add Section or Add Contact buttons should ask their site administrator about contacts permissions. For anything else, contact JEKA Support.
